mission
The LGBTQ+ Special Interest Group was founded in 1991, formed in 1994, granted affiliate status in 1996 as the Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual Issues Caucus (LGBIC), and changed its name to the LGBT Issues Caucus (LGBTIC) in 2001. The LGBTQ+ SIG works/aims to make LGBTQ+ issues more visible within the field of art education.
